Frequently Asked Questions


The youngest age at which we begin teaching classes is 3 years old. We also require that they be potty-trained.

Our dance season runs Fall-Winter-Spring. We follow the Autauga County School calendar relating to holidays. We are closed Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break on the same days as school. We are NOT closed on teacher-in-service days or any one-day holiday. 


We have make-up days for classes if your child is sick or misses class. Ask us about these make-up classes as needed. Please make every effort to attend on your scheduled day. 


All students must be picked up no later than 10 minutes after class is finished. Please call the studio if there will be a delay in doing this. 


Mann Dance is not responsible for accidents that may occur, damaged property, or lost items. Please put your child's name on all shoes, batons, and anything else that is brought to class.


Dance fees are due between the 1st and 15th of each month. Full monthly fees are due September through May: 1/2 monthly fees are due in August. A late fee of $5.00 will be applied after the 15th of each month. We accept cash, checks, and money orders. There will be a $25.00 charge on all returned checks.


We collect for Tap & Ballet Costumes in November and for Gymnastics, Baton & Jazz Costumes in January. If payment for your costume is not collected on time, your child will NOT have one ordered for the recital. 


All registration fees, dance fees, and costume fees are non-refundable.





We participate in the annual City of Prattville Christmas Parade, which is usually held on the first Saturday of December (or the second Saturday, depending upon Prattville High School football season outcome). 


We perform an annual holiday ballet production in December. Details regarding the production will be announced throughout the Fall segment of our dance season.
